Artist's Comments

This is one of the many prints that I did at the Hamilton Wood Type Museum in Two Rivers, WI. I had such a great time working there with all the old wood block type, thousands of different characters in all shapes and sizes. There is just something different about working with typography with something physical rather than just digitally on screen. I think I stepped away from that trip some great knowledge.

This piece was done with light application of orange and magenta ink with a 3 that i just reversed.

Then you need to head over to the Hamilton Type Museum and do some printing! It's so worth the small lab fee.

Where is it? I've never even heard of it! I could probably spend days there. :)

It is right off the Main St there. It's right by the awesome Ice Cream Sunday shop there. You can't miss the museum, it has a huge HAMILTON sign in blue lettering on the foundry building. Great place.
